Treat yourself to a Spa Day from the comfort of your own home. Create DIY face masks, hair treatments, and smoothie recipes to rejuvenate your cells 

Now that you have some time at home why not give yourself that spa treatment you deserve. 

The beauticians may be closed but you can still spend the day treating yourself to a face mask and home hair spa.  


Step 1; Choose your playlist 

Find some music to set the mood, whether that’s jazz, some relaxing sound therapy or maybe you want to feel the beat with a bit of hip hop. Get your favourite playlist ready. 

Step 2; Choose your Face Mask 

For Dry Skin 

  • 1tbsp honey 
  • ½ avocado, smashed 

Mix and mash together. 

Slather over your face and wash off after 15 minutes.  


For Oily Skin 

  1. 1 egg white 
  2. Pinch of Aloe Vera gel  

Mix the ingredients together 

Spoon onto your face and wash off after 10 minutes.  

Step 3; Choose your Hair Treatment 

Nourishing Hair Treatment

  • 1 ripe avocado 

Mash avocado and apply it through dry hair.  

Let sit for 30 minutes and shampoo thoroughly.  

Oily Hair Treatment

  • ¼ cup Aloe Vera gel 
  • ½ cup shampoo 

Mix the Aloe Vera gel and shampoo well.  

Apply and rinse. 

Step 4; Prepare a nourishing lunch 

Recipe 1; Smoothie 

  • 200ml coconut milk (use milk of choice) 
  • Large handful of strawberries 
  • 1 banana 
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter 
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds 

Blend everything together and enjoy  

Recipe 2; Salad 

  • 1 sweet potato 
  • Olive oil 
  • Salt 
  • Cinnamon  
  • ½ avocado 
  • ½ lemon 
  • 5ml Omegabiocell369 
  • Large handful of fresh kale  
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved 

Preheat the oven at 200C 

Cut the sweet potato into ‘cubes’ drizzle with olive oil, pinch of salt and cinnamon and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.  

Meanwhile blend ½ avocado with the juice of ½ lemon, pinch of salt and 5ml of Omegabiocell369 to create a dip. Set aside. 

15 minutes before the sweet potato chips are ready, toss the kale in a little oil and salt and place in the oven for 10-12 minutes.  

Mix the kale with the cherry tomatoes and serve alongside the sweet potato chunks with avocado dip.
